Obtain training images for MPS modeling

Multi-point statistics (MPS) algorithms offer strong potential for generating geologically realistic facies models, provided that appropriate training images are available.

Our geomorphologically mapped modern datasets include a wide range of potential training images representing various depositional systems. These include plan-view distributions of channels and channel belts, as well as the presence and internal architecture of delta lobes and mouth bar deposits.

Use the View Analog and Dimensional Data application to identify suitable training image examples.

Use the Whiteboard application to compile these images and select those most relevant to your specific subsurface objectives.
